Steven N. Strauss, CPA/PFS

Steven Strauss is a Principal in the firm of Droms Strauss Advisors, Inc., a fee-only, Registered Investment Advisory firm with offices in St. Louis, Missouri and Washington, D.C.  Droms Strauss Advisors manages investment portfolios for clients that live and work throughout the United States, in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Strauss is also a Member in Integrated Financial Solutions, LLC., a public accounting firm with offices in St. Louis, Missouri.  Mr. Strauss received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in economics and finance from the University of Missouri – Columbia and was awarded a Master of Science in Taxation degree from DePaul University.  With a broad background in taxation and personal financial planning, Steve specializes in providing financial planning services to physicians and other high net worth individuals.  He regularly advises his clients in the areas of income tax planning, insurance, retirement and estate planning.

Mr. Strauss began his accounting career over 30 years ago and first became interested in financial planning in 1985 when that particular specialty for accountants was in its infancy.  Steve has since served on numerous State Society committees and on the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Practice Subcommittee from 1986 to 1989.  In 1993 Steve co-authored PFP Partner, a professional personal financial planning computer program designed for CPAs to use in providing personal financial planning services to their clients.  A second version was introduced in 1995 at which time; PFP Partner was the most widely used software by CPAs for providing personal financial planning services.  In 1998 Steve introduced a third version of the program, Partner for Windows.  He has taught numerous courses to other CPAs at both State CPA Society sponsored programs and at programs sponsored by the AICPA and has been a regular speaker at State and National conferences.
